My ethos is that the creative time spent together is as, if not more, important than the finished piece - so no pressure to produce a masterpiece (although I’m sure whatever the final product, it will be really special).
It is up to the recipient what sort of thing to create - collage, mosaic, wall hanging, mobile or assemblage sculpture. I’m here for guidance, instruction or just encouragement - whatever’s needed!
Set in my studio on Chandos Road, I’ll have all the materials available and they’re welcome to bring (or not) anything they might like to include. A 2 hour session that will begin with a couple of fun, arty games to get us in the swing and then the group will work together to create a finished piece. If it needs time to dry I can deliver it at an arranged time within Bristol, or it can be collected.
These photos are for inspiration, but i’ll ask what sort of group you are, what or who you are celebrating, materials you are drawn to and where you might put something you make - natural tones or primary colours, mess making or clean lines and fastidious, mantlepiece or huge wall, cut and stick or build, build, build - and I’ll offer a few options to chose from.
Date/time-wise depends on the group - Wednesdays are often good, daytime or evening, Friday mornings are possible, as are some Saturday afternoons - GET IN TOUCH to discuss any of this!
